Troy's journey from a distinguished 20-year military career to his unwavering commitment to his family and to serving the people of North Carolina exemplifies the qualities that are desperately needed in a leader. Troy's military background is not just a part of his resume; it's a testament to his character. His service involved multiple commands, overseas assignments, and combat deployments to Iraq. The experiences he gained during these challenging missions have uniquely positioned him to understand the sacrifices our veterans and their families make and the support they require both during and after their service. While Troy may not be a seasoned politician, his decision to step onto the political stage is driven by a profound desire to extend his life's work of selfless dedication. It is an honor to be able to be a part of Troy’s life and to endorse him as a representative for North Carolina. I have known Troy his whole life and I have never seen someone who has the drive and work ethic to get whatever he wants accomplished. He retired from the Army and during which time he started as a medic and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 4. He has a beautiful family and it’s been great to see him instill his ethics in his children, and he has a loving supportive wife. I know Troy will deliver as a NC representative, I have absolutely no doubt. He is as stubborn as they come while being fair in whatever he is doing. Although Troy may be a novice on the political scene he has a masters degree in setting and fulfilling his goals. Whatever his goals as a representative from NC are I have no doubt he will accomplish them. Troy has set the bar high in work ethics, honesty, and moral integrity. He is a family man who instills those qualities in his children. I believe Troy will work diligently for the people of NC which, in turn, will benefit the rest of this great country. As a twenty year Army veteran he has walked the walk with his fellow soldiers and knows the sacrifices and hardships that they and their families go through.
